For over 150 years, The Cross Church has been impacting Wylie, surrounding communities and places around the world. We began in 1870 when a small group of rural residents started a church. Since then, we seek to be a people that shares God’s Love, serves one another, and removes barriers to help people see Jesus more clearly.

The Cross Church welcomes all to join our weekend gatherings. Our diverse services and ministries aim to introduce people to Jesus and to be a place that offers hope, spiritual growth and belonging. Messages each week are based on the infallible Word of God with real life application. Watch a message or two online to hear our pastor’s teaching style.

The Cross Church offers Christ-centered, high energy, age-appropriate, and fun weekend and weekday worship experiences for the next generation, ages birth through 12th grade. Growth Groups gather weekly for Bible study, encouragement, and community. Members are encouraged and equipped to serve out of their gifting and calling. In partnership with our community, missionaries, and missions’ organizations we meet physical and spiritual needs to the glory of God and the good of people.

Care Staff – Weekend and/or Weekday Opportunities Available

Care staff are responsible for providing a safe, healthy, and loving environment to preschool children. Staff should agree with The Cross Church’s faith statement and be committed to the spiritual development of children in a Christian environment through the regular and ongoing programming provided by The Cross Church children’s ministry, contributing to the high-performance culture and mission to "Spread God’s Fame by Making Disciples of all People."

Worship Production Technician

The Worship Production Technician supports the technical execution of worship services, rehearsals, ministry events, and special programs through the operation, preparation, and maintenance of The Cross Church’s audio, video, lighting, presentation, broadcast, and other production systems. This position helps ensure that all production environments are prepared and executed with excellence, consistency, and minimal distraction so that ministry and worship remain the primary focus. As a full-time member of the Creative Arts team, the Worship Production Technician provides both hands-on technical support and ongoing ownership of production systems, equipment, workspaces, and volunteer readiness throughout the week. The Worship Production Technician is expected to demonstrate initiative, technical excellence, flexibility, and a servant-hearted approach while contributing to The Cross Church’s high-performance culture and mission to “Spread God’s Fame by Making Disciples of All People.” The Worship Production Technician reports to the Creative Arts Minister.

Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Facilities Maintenance Technician supports the care, maintenance, safety, and readiness of The Cross Church facilities, grounds, vehicles, and other physical assets. This position helps ensure church environments are safe, functional, welcoming, and prepared to support ministry activities, church events, and community use. The Facilities Maintenance Technician contributes to The Cross Church’s high-performance culture and mission to “Spread God’s Fame by Making Disciples of All People.” This position reports to the Campus and Technology Director and works collaboratively with staff, volunteers, vendors, and contractors.
